Would you like to answer the call of the wild and go native? Is the only thing stopping you that you are afraid to pick plants that may not be appropriate for your site? If so, consider having our Garden Designer work with you on achieving your goals.
Yerba Buena Nursery offers a special on-site consultation to help you convert your garden into a native plant paradise. We will send our designer to your home where we can properly assess the conditions in your garden such as sun, soil, watering parameters, wildlife desirability, garden use and maintenance issues. Our designer is delighted to make the trip to your house, and services the Peninsula from San Francisco to San Jose.

Following a visit, the designer will prepare a report for you. This will include a list of recommended plants, their sizes, water needs and bloom information. A "Bubble Sketch" drawing of your garden will show you (not to scale) approximately where the plants should be placed.
We encourage you to do as much "homework" as possible -- if you let us know which plants appeal to you we can do a better job. Visit Yerba Buena Nursery with a notepad and camera. Read native plant books such as Gardening with a Wild Heart, Growing California Native Plants, Plants and Landscapes for Summer Dry Climates and others that are available in our Garden Shop. Your report will be mailed to you within the timeframe discussed with your designer. Along with the report, you will receive a $50 plant credit which is good for plant purchases at Yerba Buena Nursery within six months.
The Nursery Staff at Yerba Buena Nursery will be happy to help you select plants from the design and make additional suggestions about planting & watering so that you will be successful.
