Description:
A well known selection of the Point Reyes Ceanothus 'Anchor Bay' is a mounding groundcover, with dense foliage to keep out weeds. Leathery holly-shaped leaves are less palatable to deer than most Ceanothus. Lavender-blue flowers appear from March to May. It can tolerate a clay soil and accept summer water better than most Ceanothus.
