Description:
In the Iris family and closely related to Blue-eyed Grass, this local native is found in wet places near the coast. Cheerful dime-sized yellow flowers grace the plant in spring and summer. Very tolerant of heavy soils, and not wanting to dry out completely, garden companions include the Oregon Checkerbloom, Cinquefoils, and Blue Lobelia.
