Description:
This shade-loving, low-growing perennial is native to Redwood and Douglas Fir forests from Monterey County to Washington. It is a delicately textured groundcover, whose pink to white flowers add to its beauty from April to September. Despite its delicate look, it is easily grown in a variety of soils, and given some summer water it will slowly spread itself about the garden, usually around a foot per year.
