Description:
Well known house plant often seen in hanging baskets. In the ground it is low to about 1/2' tall and spreading easily to 5'. Plant in the shade and provide summer water. Sometimes called Youth on Age, because of the new plantlets that appear on the mature leaves. Flowers are modest on 1' stalks from May to June. Native to cool moist places in mixed evergreen forests below 6,000' from N. California to Alaska.
