Description:
Rescued from the Laurel Hill Cemetery in San Francisco, this low, dense manzanita is now extinct in the wild. A beautiful specimen along a rock wall or spilling out of a container. In winter its grey green leaves are offset beautifully by dangling clusters of small white flowers. A very adaptable plant, it is drought tolerant, and thrives in heavy or rocky soil, including serpentine.
