Description:
One of our most exquisite native trees, the Madrone is prized for its satiny orange-red bark and dark green leaves. Large clusters of white flowers appear in spring, followed by bright red berries in late summer that attract birds. Unfortunately a very difficult plant to establish - for a similar look and an easier to grow plant we recommend an upright form of Manzanita.
