Description:
A variety of the Southern Bush Monkey Flower with very deep, burnt red flowers. It occurs in Los Angeles, Ventura and Riverside Counties. The flowers are small, but profuse. The plant is tough, tolerating heat, drought and cold. it can be pinched back at any time, and should be cut back by 2/3 in late summer, then watered deeply to rejuvenate. Ultimate height 2' to 3'
