Description:
This finely textured grey green fern is adapted to the dry hot conditions of that characterize much of our state. It is found throughout California in many plant communities on rocky slopes. Given full sun and good drainage it is completely drought tolerant after its first year in the garden. It makes a beautiful accent placed near a rock or a gravel path. Bird's Foot Fern will accept summer water, and will spread slowly to about 2'.
