A beautiful shade tree, with a low broad canopy to about 30 feet tall and wide when grown in the sun. If it is planted in the shade expect a taller, more slender form, up to 75 feet. The Big Leaf Maple has bright yellow fall color, and the bronze new foliage in the spring, coupled with golden catkins, adds to its year round beauty.
