Botanic Name:
Artemisia ludoviciana albula 'Silver Queen'
Common Name:
Silver Wormwood
Size: 2'h x 2'w
Sun: sun
H20: occ.H2O/dry
Description:
Similar to our local Mugwort, this Southern California native differs in requiring more sun to thrive, and having much more silvery foliage. A vertical habit and divided silver-gray foliage make it a strong accent. We have it in a bed with Clarkia and Mnazanita, where it contrasts beautifully with the green foliage and purple flowers of its neighbors. Fall dormant.
