Description:
A large shrub or small tree, that rapidly reaches 20' high and as wide. Covered with vivid golden yellow flowers in mid to late spring, this is a rigidly structured plant that makes a strong statement in the garden. A native to hot, dry spots of the coastal and inner mountain ranges. The Flannel bush needs full sun and no summer water after establishment. Don't plant it where you are likely to brush against it, as the fuzz on leaves can be irritating.
