Description:
This perennial native of the Sierras has sky blue flowers which bloom spring to midsummer. Takes full sun and dry conditions. In bloom it reaches 2'-3' high but remains narrow. A tough plant, but delicate in appearance. Needs a mass of plants to make any sort of visual impact. To maintain tidy appearance, cut plants back after bloom. It can reseed itself, so plant it where you want more Flax!
