Description:
Also known as Ocean Spray, this deciduous shrub tolerates both moist and dry situations, but grows larger with more shade and water, reaching up to 10 feet tall. It has large sprays of small creamy-white flowers in May and June, and its foliage gives off a pleasant scent when bruised. A native to the coast ranges, Sierra Nevadas and Rocky Mountains it is an adaptable plant and makes a good garden subject for our area.
