A lovely, long-lived small bunchgrass, native from San Mateo County northward, and also to Idaho and Colorado. It is a good choice as a meadow component, or as an accent plant. Needs only occasional water, which will keep it fresher looking. It is a larval food source of the Lindsey Skipper butterfly.
