Description:
This 5 foot shrub from the coast sage scrub of San Diego County has an open branched form with young slender stems. Clear blue flowers, in whorls at the end of the stems appear from February to April. The leaves are an attractive ashy-green color, making it especially useful in the grey or silver-leaved garden, or as an accent with green-leaved plants. Plant in full sun and water only to establish, especially if the soil is heavy.
