Arctostaphylos 'Austin Griffith' Common Name: 'Austin Griffith' Manzanita Size: 8'h x 8'w Sun: sun H20: summer dry
A chance hybrid that occured at Native Sons Nursery, 'Austin Griffith' is similar to the Dr. Hurd Manzanita in appearance, but stays about half the size, around 8 feet tall. Shares the Dr. Hurd's large green leaves, faster than average growth (around a foot a year once established), sculptural form, and disease resistance. Best in full sun with little or no water once established.
