Description:
Another rare form of the Monterey Manzanita. The lone specimen of this subspecies left remaining in the wild occurs in the Presidio in San Francisco. Its round grey green leaf and somewhat stiff habit give it a unique appearance. It is a spreading plant that can reach about 2' high and 5' wide. Give full sun to light shade and occasional water.
