Artemisia tridentata

Big Sagebrush
Size: 6'h x 4'w
Sun: sun
H20: summer dry
Description:
This Sagebrush is native to the eastern Sierra as well as much of the West. As its habitat would suggest, it is an extremely tough plant, tolerating full sun and drought, as well as deer. A fast grower, it will quickly reach 4 feet tall and wide. Silver aromatic leaves provide a nice contrast to darker leaved shrubs such as Ceanothus and Manzanita. Prune yearly to keep dense.
