Description:
A hybrid of F. calif. ssp. decumbens. It grows to about 6' tall and wide, with a layered branching structure. The flowers, appearing in spring and summer are a rich, burnt orange. This attractive, mounding shrub should be planted in full sun. It looks especially lovely with boulders, or in a hilly, chaparral setting. It should get occasional water during its first year, but no overhead watering. By its second summer, it should be left completely dry.
