Description:
A shrubby Monkey Flower found in the southern half of the state. This is a robust, fast growing plant, of about 2'. The flowers on ours are a bright orange, and larger than our local Monkey Flowers. Mimulus longiflorus blooms from late spring through the summer if given full sun and occasional water. To keep your plant dense pinch it back during the summer, and give it a severe pruning in the fall, after it is established.
