Description:
The largest tree in the world. Reaching heights of 320' with 30' diameter trunks, these giants are found in only a few scattered groves in the mountains of Calif. In cultivation it will be the star feature of your garden. Lower branches remain in tree's long youth and a large lawn or open space is required. Dense, gray green scalelike leaves contrast with cinnamon red bark. Highly adaptable to many climates it requires good drainage, full sun, and a fairly dry situation.
