Island Nightshade
Size: 4'h x 8'w

Description:
This spreading evergreen shrub can grow to 4' tall by 8' wide. Blue-purple flowers with yellow centers bloom in clusters at the tip of the stems, March to August. This shrub is similar to the local native Blue Witch, but on a larger scale with bigger, showier flowers and coarse, sticky leaves. With a sprawling habit it needs regular pinching to look its best. Native to dry rocky slopes and canyons of the Channel Islands, it is drought tolerant when established, and does best in full sun on the coast, and light shade inland.
