Botanic Name:
Epilobium 'Brilliant Smith'
Common Name:
California Fuchsia
Size: 1'h x 2'w
Sun: sun
H20: occ.H2O/moist
Description:
Green foliage contrasts beautifully with the brilliant, orange-red trumpets that cover this 1' plant in late summer and fall. The flowers are unusually open for a California Fuschia, and it needs more water than Zauschneria Californica. It does best with weekly watering, good drainage and full sun. It was discovered in Del Norte County near the south fork of the Smith River.
