Description:
A close relative of the manzanitas, this is a good shrub for a hot dry site. The small clusters of flowers bloom in winter. Fruits are near black when fully ripe and split into several sections. Good for any moderate-sized garden where sun and drought rule in summer. Can be pruned or used as an informal hedge.
