Description:
This spreading perennial is native to coastal foothills and grows to one foot high and 3 feet wide. Covered with bright yellow daisies in late spring and summer. It has attractive woolly leaves and needs little maintenance. This Daisy wants full sun and drought near the coast, filtered sun and some water inland. A nice companion to sand hill sage and other coastal perennials. A hard fall pruning will produce a better looking plant the following year. A great plant for butterflies and a range of beneficial insects.
