Description:
Jordan's Maidenhair is found on shady slopes that drain well and are dry in the summer months. It is a summer and fall dormant fern that is difficult to grow and consequently rare in cultivation. It requires perfect drainage and will die if overwatered. Having said that it is a beautiful accent under oaks, and combines beautifully with Hound's Tongue, Trillium, and Fernald's Iris.
