Coreopsis maritima
Common Name:
Sea-Dahlia
Size: 2'h x w
Sun: Sun
H20: Occ.H2O/dry
Description:
This rare Coreopsis from Southern California grows to 2 feet tall, with beautiful honey-scented yellow flowers for much of the year. As its common name suggests, it thrives near the coast, with full sun and little water. It also does well inland. The plants in our garden bloom for most of the year, provided we clip the spent flowers periodically. Great combined with other coastal sun lovers like Seaside Daisy, Coyote Mint, and Idaho Fescue.
