Description:
This Penstemon forms a low mat of green foliage topped with rich blue flowers on stalks around 12 inches tall. An adaptable plant, it does fine with or without summer water, although it wants at least ok drainage. A good butterfly and hummingbird plant, as well as a nice cut flower. Well placed in a container or along the front of a bed, perhaps with other small perennials like Idaho Fescue, Seaside Daisy, or Coyote Mint.
