Description:
A low mounding perennial with a neat, compact habit, Golden Aster is covered with bright yellow daisies in summer. It is native to the coastal foothills. It is drought tolerant but looks lusher with summer irrigation. Prune lightly after flowering to encourage more blooms. A nice plant for the front of a border or at the edge of a path. Also does well in light shade under oaks!
