Arctostaphylos regismontana Common Name: King's Mountain Manzanita Size: 12'h x 12'w Sun: sun-pt. shd H20: occ.H2O/dry
This is an uncommon manzanita that can be found locally on Kings Mountain, growing on sandstone and granite outcrops. It grows 12 feet high and wide, with beautiful maroon branches. The showy winter flowers are white and attract bees and hummingbirds.
