Description:
This abundant annual Lupine often appears as a perennial. It will be found in open or disturbed areas and is often seeded on roadbanks. The blue to purple flower casts a haze over hills in spring and early summer. Growing to 3 feet in height, it is one of the most reliable annual lupines. Likes sun and drought. Larval food plant. This lupine ranges from Northwest California to Baja.
