Description:
Mugwort is commonly found in open to shady places and in drainages throughout the California Floristic Provence. It is a colony plant, forming stands of many individuals all interconnected by underground rootstalks. The flowers are inconspicuous, but the plant is strongly and pleasantly aromatic. It has several medicinal uses.
