Description:
Goldenrods are late summer bloomers, offering welcome color when many plants have become dormant and a source of pollen and nectar for many beneficial insects. They are vigorous perennials from creeping rootstocks. Give them full sun to light shade. Although drought tolerant they may appreciate occasional summer water. The Epilobiums and Foothill Penstemon make complimentary companons.
