Description:
This Cypress has the most restricted range of any California tree. It grows close to the coast at elevations less than 100' in two small populations in Monterey County. It is recommended only near the coast where it will not be stressed and susceptible to fungal disease and insect pests. In the appropiate setting it makes a wonderful specimen tree, or hedge or windbreak.
