Description:
A recent introduction from Rancho Santa Ana Botanical Garden, this selection has the largest flowers of any Chaparral Currant we have come across. The earliest flowering currant we carry, this plant will delight hummingbirds and gardeners alike with its large drooping clusters of pale rose flowers from December to March or so. This species is found growing on hills of the inner and outer coast ranges from Marin to Los Angeles Counties. Plant 'Dancing Tassels' in sun or light shade, with occasional to moderate water.
