Description:
This selection of the coastal Purple Sage is ornamentally the best of the hardier plants. It is a compact shrub growing to about 3 feet and spreading much more. Both the stems and the leaves are covered with white wool. In late spring and summer it produces long pedicels displaying whorls of lavender-pink flowers . In your garden provide a well-drained sunny site for this drought and heat tolerant shrub. It should be hardy to 15degrees F.
