Description:
This perennial violet is found in coastal forests in the northern and central western regions of the state. Yellow flowers are held an inch or two above the stem, blooming in spring but also consistently throughout the year along the coast. The stems will root as they grow along the ground and it can also reseed. In your garden provide a moist well-drained soil and a shaded situation.
