Description:
This spreading Salvia is an ideal bank cover for a sunny dry area with good drainage. Somewhat misnamed as it is a fairly tall plant, 'Shirley's Creeper' will quickly form a dense mound 4 to 6 feet tall and wide. In spring, white flowers contrast beautifully with the dark green foliage. Prune by 1/3 or so after flowering for a denser plant the following year. Salvia 'Shirley's Creeper' is hardy to at least 15 degrees.
