Description:
This showy perennial has bright blue flowers in spring and summer, and reaches 2 feet tall and wide. Native to moist meadows and woodlands in the Sierras and elsewhere, it appreciates light shade and regular water during its growing period, although it is drought and sun tolerant on the coast. A nice addition to a watered woodland garden, mixed with Redwood Sorrel, Bleeding Heart, Ginger, and Deer fern. Winter dormant.
