Sidalcea oregana Common Name: Oregon Checkerbloom Size: 2'h x 2'w Sun: sun-pt. shd H20: occ.H2O/moist A taller Checkerbloom than our local species, Oregon Checkerbloom sends up spikes of bright pink flowers to 2 feet tall. Native to moist meadows throughout the mountainous west, this species likes full sun to mostly sun, and regular water. A nice addition to a watered native perennial garden, with other moisture lovers like native Lilies, Scarlet Monkeyflower, Giant Chain Fern, and the sedges and rushes.
