Description:
Native Nightshades generally have white or purple flowers, and a loose, rambling habit. 'Salmon Creek' has deep green foliage with profuse deep purple flowers in spring and early summer. Occasionally prune to form a sprawling mound of foliage and flowers (great on a bank). Or plant as it is seen in the wild, near the base of a taller shrub it can twine through, poking out here and there to put on a show of flowers. Drought tolerant; prefers infrequent watering. Fruit is toxic.
