Botanic Name:
Mimulus bifidus 'Junipero Serra'
Common Name:
Monkeyflower
Size: 2'h x 2'w
Sun: Sun-part shade
H20: Occ.H2O/dry
Description:
This Monkeyflower selection has beautiful peach colored flowers that flare open much broader than our local Sticky Monkeyflower. Sometimes mistaken for an Azalea because of the shape and profusion of its flower, it will make a small showy specimen in your garden, in sun or dappled shade. Very drought tolerant but looks better and blooms longer with extra water. Plant with a blue Penstemon for a stunning spring display.
