Our Meadow:

The clarkia are not disappointing -- they're still in full bloom and more are appearing every day. Now is a great time stop by to view the meadow and don't forget to pick up your clarkia seeds in our shop. Ask our employees how your garden can bloom with as much life as ours!

Clarkia and Romneya:

Romneya coulteri and clarkia rubicunda bloom side by side next to one of the many walkways through our Demonstration Garden. Romneya will be available in the fall, give us a call at (650) 851-1668 if you are interested in being notified when they are in stock. Make sure to have a large area of the garden you wish this plant to bloom in, as it is very prolific.

Medley of Wildflowers:

No matter where you walk, you will find a medley of beautiful blooming wildflowers. This area of the garden is best viewed through the lower entrance to the garden, proving that every view you are offered during your walk will be spectacular!

Solidago californica:

A Solidago californica (Californica Goldenrod) plant flourishes in our garden, the yellow a beautiful contrast to the green and pinks prevalent in its area.

Dryopteris filix-mas:

Within our Ginger House, a crop of Dryopteris filix-mas (Male Fern) spread their feathery green fronds out to create an attractive sight. Not all the beauty of California Native plants is contained within our Demonstration Garden, a walk around the nursery will present itself with many sights!
